SB723: Right to Recall Campaign

The Right to Recall law was originally established in Senate Bill 93 (SB93) in 2021, and then extended by Senate Bill 723 (SB723) in 2023. The Right to Recall law (Labor Code 2810.8) provides rehiring rights for employees in hospitality and building services who were laid off due to COVID-19-related reasons. When positions become available, employers must offer them to qualified laid-off employees based on seniority. I had the opportunity to create a logo, branding and materials. A restriction was to keep the campaign color the same as the Department of Industrial Relations' brand color.
